Travis Demers a 20/20 sports update anchor at 1080 The Fan, as well as the producer for the TV side of "Primetime with Isaac and Big Suke" on Comcast SportsNet Northwest.

Demers was born and rasied in Westchester County, New York, graduating from John Jay High school in 1999.  Demers went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the CW Post Campus of Long Island University.  While studying broadcasting in college, Demers was the Sports Director at WCWP, the campus radio station, where he was the play by play announcer for the school's D-II Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Lacrosse Teams.  After interning at ABC Sports Radio in New York, Demers was hired as a freelance producer in March of 2003.

In August of 2003, Demers decided to concentrate on his on air career, accepting a play by play position with New Northwest Broadcasters, in Astoria, OR.  He was hired as a part time stringer for 1190 KEX in September of 03, and officially began working at 1080 The Fan in March of 04, running the board for play by play events, and filling in as update anchor and play by play announcer.  Demers spent a year and a half at KATU-TV in Portland, as the traffic anchor for KATU News This Morning. 

He became the television producer of The FAN on Comcast Sportsnet in October of 2007, and is the host of "Jax Lacrosse Weekly" on CSN.

Demers has also been the radio voice of the Portland LumberJax of the National Lacrosse League for their first two seasons (2006-07), and has filled in as play by play announcer for Pittsburgh Panthers women's basketball, and Montana State University women's basketball.

In his spare time, Demers enjoys golf, video games, and spending time with his family and friends (not necessarily in that order), and is a lifetime Yankees fan with the ink to prove it.  Demers has also been seen in the sportsbook from time to time.
